Nonprofits We Love

Lifeline Dog Rescue, located in Elkhorn, WI, is dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at life and love. This organization is passionate about rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters. Through their tireless efforts, Lifeline provides these dogs with a safe haven, crucial medical care, and the opportunity to heal and thrive in loving foster homes. They are committed to ensuring each dog, like those featured in Finding Jasper, finds their forever family, where they can experience the happiness and security they deserve. Lifeline believes every dog deserves a loving home and works closely with partners such as Open Arms Free Clinic to make that dream a reality, one dog at a time.

Mission: To better understand and compassionately serve the health and wellness needs of the uninsured, low-income, and underserved residents of Walworth County. Our goal is for our patients and their families to receive the same primary care and attention—with respect and dignity—that we would want for our families. We are proud to partner with organizations like Lifeline Dog Rescue and open our doors at the Open Arms Free Clinic to provide comprehensive support for our community. Finding Jasper and connecting families to vital resources is an integral part of our mission.

Human trafficking is filled with unspeakable horrors, and the traffickers who perpetrate violence and facilitate exploitation rely on a society that chooses to look away. Finding Jasper is dedicated to changing this narrative by directly addressing the issue—rescuing children, women, and men from sex trafficking and guiding them on the path to healing. With the average age of a sex worker being just 12 years old, the need for action is urgent. Remarkably, the cost of rescuing a survivor from sex trafficking is only $1,800, which covers everything from the first communication to the rescue and relocation. In conjunction with initiatives like Lifeline Dog Rescue and Open Arms Free Clinic, we strive to provide comprehensive support for these individuals, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
